Not a "flagship" and that's why it's great

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is my third Pixel and by far the best. 7 months in and I am so thrilled that the battery life is holding strong, the speed of operation is fantastic ... and my iPhone devotee wife has me take the important pictures because the Pixel camera is just so much better than the iPhone 12 flagship. For my uses, this is the perfect device. I travel extensively for work and the unfettered Google assistant is like having a live assistant in tow. Of course, it's not going to have all the bells and whistles of the true flagships. But I can't say I miss them ... but I did appreciate paying half the cost for a high caliber device!

Fantastic phone! Ignore illegitimate reviews

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Many of the reviews here are plainly fake and intentionally spread disinformation. Bad camera? No auto rotate? Bricked? Seriously? I switched from a Pixel 2 XL. My lone "complaint" is that Google does such an amazing job of updating its phones that a new phone basically functions exactly the same as the old one, just a little faster. Where my 2 was slowing a bit, the 5 flies. Camera is FANTASTIC, transitions and performance are superior, and you have 5G. It is waterproof and charges wirelessly and the battery is simply the best ever made. Moving data was seamless. Turn it on, log in, follow the prompts, and go. Everything transferred, including texts and wifi networks. Ignore the negative reviews. Read the national reviews instead. This is a great phone.

Fits the Bill!

Meeting all expectations. Wireless charging is always a prerequisite for me. I also needed a phone that will connect wirelessly to my new Kenwood Android Auto car stereo, and this one works perfectly. The phone stays in my pocket and 30 seconds after turning on my car I am using Android Auto wirelessly. The screen in only slightly smaller than my last phone (Moto Z3 Play), just as tall and a bit narrower, but the device itself is considerably smaller and easy to handle. And now, unlike my old phone, I can use the case of my choice and still have wireless charging. The phone performs well and has a few features unique to the Pixel that make if fun and interesting to use. Check out some YouTube video reviews like I did before buying. No disappointments or regrets for me.

What a surprise

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Coming from an IPhone 11 pro max and losing the screen size, I thought I'd be bothered by it but after a little while I realized this phone just gotta perfectly in your hand. It's also good for watching videos.. a decent size I mean. Google assistant is the best assistant by far.. I can't believe no one I knew had any idea because they all swear by iPhones.. I can't tell you how many times I would wow them with a feature or just the simple fact that my phone can do something there's can't. Also it says the other phones have better specs but I've never used a more smooth phone in my life and Google really hit this perfect sweet spot of software and hardware,..But the most important thing is that Everytime I had the choice to just grab one phone.. it was this one.. as I did before I had an IPhone 11 pro max also for a with line. I know the specs say one thing.. but you go ahead and get googles phone in your hand next to apples best and I'm sorry you will see Google is the winner here.. anyway the battery is ridiculous. It has an adaptive battery that gets better and better as you use the phone.. I just love this phone

Good price, great software and user experience.

I love the software. Call screening and holding features are great. Camera is great. Water resistant is a +. It has everything I need without having to pay for bells and whistles I don't need.

For “Up to 48 hours”: Maximum battery life based on testing using a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of limited other features that are default in Extreme Battery Saver mode (which disables various features including 5G connectivity). Testing conducted on two major carrier networks. For both claims: Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 battery testing conducted by a third party in California in mid 2020 on pre-production hardware and software using default settings, except that, for the “up to 48 hour claim” only, Extreme Battery Saver mode was enabled.
